CSA is a partnership between the farmer and individuals who want to eat fresh, healthy produce. The CSA farmers offer produce subscriptions where buyers receive a weekly supply of fresh seasonal vegetables and fruits. A CSA allows individuals to create a relationship with farmers to receive weekly fresh produce. By making a financial commitment to the farm, people become members or "subscribers" of the CSA. Buying from a CSA means the community gets fresh produce while supporting the farming family and the local economy.
